About
Welcome to Bar El Drago, a hidden gem located in the heart of Málaga, specifically on C. Francisco Guillón, 26. Known for its warm atmosphere and delicious traditional Spanish cuisine, this local bar has quickly become a favorite among both locals and travelers.
The charm of Bar El Drago lies not only in its rich menu but also in its genuine hospitality. With reviews praising the friendly service—regardless of your Spanish speaking skills—one can feel right at home. As Oscar M.b highlights, "El cafelito de primera hora no me puede faltar," indicating that their morning coffee is a must-try and a perfect way to kickstart your day.
The menu at Bar El Drago is impressive, especially with their €8 daily specials available every day of the week. These meals include a fantastic selection of dishes, such as the exquisite rice dishes served on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and fresh fish like jureles and besugos prepared to perfection. Such offerings make it one of the best spots in town for a budget-friendly yet satisfying meal.
What stands out about Bar El Drago is its lively atmosphere. As noted by Kino Filipino, it’s the quintessential neighborhood bar where patrons gather to enjoy engaging conversations while watching the game. The outdoor terrace provides a lovely space to relax, while the bustling indoor area adds to the vibrant local culture.
In a city known for its culinary delights, Bar El Drago holds its own with delicious food, impressive value, and a community feel that keeps guests coming back. I personally found the traditional dishes to be both flavorful and comforting, making it a true culinary experience that captures the essence of Málaga. Don't miss out on this local treasure on your next visit!

“ Delicious traditional Spanish food in a typical Málaga bar ”
